You don’t want to see them so clearly anymore so your subconscious makes you short-sighted.  You wear glasses and they become a shield between you and this person.

Your beliefs can affect your eyesight.  It is a widespread belief that people will need reading glasses as soon as they reach the age of 40.  This is not true at all but if you believe it is so, then you really will need reading glasses when you are 40!


It is also a false belief that your eyesight gets worse as you get older.  Carol Look did a tapping experiment on a group of elderly people and very many of them were able to improve their eyesight.  Please see the Tapping section above.


Another false belief is that you will need stronger glasses each time you go for an eye check- up. Cancel that and replace it with a positive belief. A false belief is that all elderly people have to wear glasses and that when you are elderly you will also have to wear glasses. Look around you and you will see many elderly people are indeed wearing glasses. Cancel this belief and do Tapping on it if necessary. Now you won’t see so many elderly people wearing glasses! You create your reality with your beliefs!


Please be careful about what you think and say. It is best not to say: 'I don't want to see that!' or 'I wish I hadn't seen that!' 'I never want to see anything like that again!', etc. These phrases might cause eye problems if you say them over and over again.


If your glasses are too strong you might get a headache, see lights flashing, feel sick and giddy, etc.  Do not wear these glasses and inform yourself about the kind of glasses you need, preferably before you have an eye-test. Your vision changes throughout the day depending on the daylight, time of day, worries and stress.  The morning is a good time for an eye-test.

There might be karmic reasons for your poor sight; your Soul might have planned this experience of your having poor sight.  Eye-training is one doorway to spirituality.  It is good to set the intention to improve one’s sight.  There is always hope.


Stress!  Stress is very harmful to your health.  Stress can, for example, give you neck and shoulder pain and this can affect your eye-sight.  Relax more, do some yoga, qi-gong or tai-chi, etc.  YouTube has various films on Qi-Gong and eye exercises.  Look up “Progressive Relaxation" by Jacobson on the internet. The second vertebra of your cervical spine (neck) might be misaligned.  This can cause various eye-problems.  Let your doctor refer you to a Chiropractor or other specialist.  Also read Heal Your Body by Louise L. Hay, pages 74-76.


Lack of Vitamin D3, zink and other vitamins, minerals and enzymes  - be sure to have a blood test to see what you are lacking; You are not eating enough healthy food please see Vision Food above.

Too much fizzy (carbonated) water might not be good for your eyes.

It is also very important to know that chemicals in cosmetics, especially in some eye-creams, some face creams and some sun tan creams can cause blurred vision, and red, runny eyes.
